Home is where The Pulse is.

The Pulse channels Amsterdam’s lively city charm as well as elegance. Providing connected floors for office and living spaces with easy transport access, The Pulse is designed to be the heart of both the international and local community, both in the practical and literal sense.

Facts
The Pulse is designed to bring the outside in.

The Pulse exemplifies a sustainable future for urban living. With lush greenscapes surrounding the exterior as well as inside the building, this project offers you fresh air and a feast for the eyes. Underfloor air supply in combination with natural ventilation will provide optimal air quality, which, together with good natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows and radiant cooling, will provide a healthy environment for the building’s users. Upon walking into The Pulse, the green podium welcomes you into the entrance area to meet and connect. Complete with a roof forest and multiple rooftop terraces, there’s no better (and greener) place to be.

Edge is committed to not only prioritising users’ health and well-being, but to also create benefits for the general public.

Therefore, Edge has taken this commitment to new heights with the addition of a new public park right next to the building. Endowed with beautiful landscaping, the park connects to a vibrant and publicly accessible plinth of the building which expands the variety of amenities not only available for the building’s users but also for the wider community. Starting with a green square as a community meeting place, the development includes an intimate park on the south side for recreation and a 35-meter urban forest between the towers.

The Pulse never misses a beat, especially regarding sustainability.

Self-sustaining and energy neutral, The Pulse utilises solar panels for energy installed on the building's facade and rooftop. An efficient energy transfer system will allow one tower to supply excess power to the other, preventing any wastage. The Pulse is also designed around prioritising access to public transportation, electric vehicles, car-sharing, cycling, and pedestrian access to minimise environmental impact. The development aims for no less than a BREEAM Outstanding certification, the world's leading sustainability assessment method for buildings. The Pulse is designed with a holistic approach considering factors like energy efficiency, transportation access, and land use & ecology.
