Dedicated to environmental and climate protection, EDGE ElbSide Hamburg utilizes photovoltaics and climate-friendly heating, coupled with smart building technology management, to ensure an optimal energy-efficient performance.

Standing 18 storeys tall, EDGE ElbSide Hamburg is Germany’s highest slim-floor building, both supporting open spaces and making it architecturally unique. The highly efficient office floors of EDGE ElbSide, designed by Behnisch Architekten, can be used flexibly and adapted to individual needs, even slashing carbon emissions by 50%.

One of the distinctive features of EDGE ElbSide Hamburg is the integration of winter gardens into its facade. EDGE ElbSide Hamburg incorporates winter gardens acting as low-tech climate pockets between inside and outside, and serving both aesthetic and natural buffer functions.
