De Zaaier and De Plukker Return to EDGE Coolsingel

Everyone thinks they're Adam and Eve. They're not, and they're back at EDGE Coolsingel, restored and returned to where they first stood.

Meet De Zaaier and De Plukker (The Sower and The Picker), two limestone sculptures by Paul Koning from 1960. A man planting a tree, a woman picking its fruit: a reference to the visual identity of De Utrecht, the former life insurance company that commissioned Oud's building.

Something new can still carry the story of the old.
