ING chooses sustainable workplace at EDGE Eindhoven

European real estate developer and investment manager Edge and Bouwinvest Office Fund welcome ING, the Netherlands' largest bank, as a new tenant at EDGE Eindhoven. The bank has signed a lease for office space in the mixed-use development, located directly next to Eindhoven Central Station.
With this relocation, ING has chosen a future-proof workplace in the heart of Eindhoven. EDGE Eindhoven combines high-quality office space with ambitious sustainability standards, smart technology and a strong focus on user wellbeing. This is not the first time ING has chosen an Edge development. The bank previously established its headquarters in the Edge-developed office building in Amsterdam-Zuidoost, demonstrating its continued confidence in Edge with its new location in Eindhoven.
Martijn Pasman, Executive Commercial Director at Edge, said:
We are delighted to welcome ING once again to an Edge building. Their choice of EDGE Eindhoven reflects the continued demand for high-quality office environments in prime locations. With ING joining the building, we are taking another step towards creating a vibrant destination where businesses, visitors and the city come together.
Bas Jochims, Fund Manager of the Bouwinvest Office Fund, said:
ING's move to EDGE Eindhoven confirms that leading organisations are deliberately choosing buildings that support their sustainability ambitions while providing an attractive and healthy working environment for their employees. Its location directly next to Eindhoven Central Station further strengthens its appeal. As an institutional investor, this is exactly the combination that creates long-term value for the building, the city, and our investors.
Edge was advised by Verschuuren & Schreppers during this transaction. ING was advised by JLL. Bouwinvest Office Fund is the owner of EDGE Eindhoven.
