Edge strengthens international leadership team with appointments of Peter Pecnik and Nikolai Worp

Pecnik joins as Managing Director to oversee international operations, while Worp returns to work on strategic growth across new markets.

As Managing Director, Peter Pecnik will oversee Edge’s international operations and growth strategy, concentrating on regions where the company is expanding beyond its established markets in the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom. He will lead the international team, identifying new opportunities through partnerships, joint ventures and development projects.

Prior to joining Edge, Pecnik spent over 15 years at HB Reavis where he held senior leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer for Poland and Chief Financial Officer for the Group. He worked closely with Marian Herman, now CEO of Edge, on several large-scale mixed-use projects and the company’s broader international expansion strategy.

Nikolai Worp returns to Edge to focus on acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic investment opportunities across the international business. His focus will be on identifying and executing transactions in markets where Edge is building its presence. Having previously worked with Edge for more than 15 years, Worp played a key role in the company’s early international expansion, including its successful entry into the German market.

These appointments are the latest in a series of senior hires at Edge. Recently, Max Morris joined as Investment Director, while earlier this year the company named Cecile Babcock as Head of Distribution and Alex Kerr as Senior Commercial Manager, all based in the UK.
