Edge appoints Joachim Wintzer as Managing Director for Germany

Leading European real estate developer and asset manager Edge today announces the appointment of Joachim Wintzer as the new Managing Director for the German market, effective from 1st April.With over 25 years of experience in the international real estate industry, Wintzer’sexpertise will be instrumental in driving Edge’s continued expansion and market presence in Germany.

Prior to joining Edge, Wintzer spent 11 years as Managing Director at Hines Real Estate, where he co-led the Berlin and Hamburg offices. During his tenure, he played a key role in investment management, project development, and business growth in Northern Germany.

As Managing Director for Germany at Edge, Wintzer will be responsible for the company’s strategic growth in the region, overseeing project development and expanding Edge’s portfolio of innovative, sustainable buildings. In addition, he will spearhead the establishment of the Asset Management division in Germany, enhancing Edge’s capabilities in this critical area.

Joachim Wintzer will assume the role of Managing Director, overseeing the German team and business operations alongside Martin Wetjen and Coen van Oostrom. In addition, he will join the German management team, working closely with Robert Steiner and Andreas Jorsch to drive the company’s strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
