Art Arrives at Red City West

Red City West, managed by Edge, draws ambitious, forward-thinking teams to the heart of Berlin's City West. Its striking presence, three stacked cubes
forming a distinct address at street level, has done more than attract tenants.

This summer, it caught the eye of internationally recognized visual artist INO, who chose the building's south-west façade as the site for a new large-scale artwork. It's proof that a building designed with intention doesn't just house
ambition. It inspires it.

For INO, every public artwork becomes part of the building and its surroundings. For Red City West, he developed a composition built on beauty, elegance, and movement: a central figure of a woman rising upward, reaching toward the top of the building, her gesture representing human effort, ambition, and the drive to move forward.

What sets his process apart is how it's made: rather than scaffolding or aerial platforms, he's trained in work-at-height techniques, painting while suspended on ropes anchored from the roof, moving vertically across the façade to paint directly onto the
surface.
